This Friday the 10th of July 2026 hip-hop icon Rick Ross will be performing at the historic Beacon theater as part of his Port of Miami 20th Anniversary Tour.
Unlike typical hip hop concerts, The Renaissance Orchestra who have never before gone on tour with any artist will perform the hip hop classics in elaborate orchestral form. The Sainted Trap Choir will also be performing back up for Ross at the Beacon.
The Beacon is a stunning building in the heart of New York's Broadway at 2124 Broadway. With incredible Art Deco Architecture it will provide the perfect backdrop to the high end Trap influenced songs by Ross that will be performed elegantly and with grandeur thanks to the work of The Renaissance Orchestra paired with The Sainted Trap Choir's stunning vocals. Celebrate the evolution of hip-hop with Rick Ross and The Renaissance Orchestra performing his debut album 'Port of Miami' in its entirety plus 'Port of Miami 2' in its entirety plus a selection from his massive catalog of other hits. This Black Tie Affair (live) will feature The Renaissance Orchestra and the Sainted Trap Choir. The national tour kicks off April 13th in Charlotte, moves to Houston on April 19th and wraps up in Atlanta April 20th before traveling to multiple US cities through May for 17 dates of the special show where you can see the biggest hip-hop tracks of all time performed live in concert with a full live orchestra for one night only.
Rick Ross will be performing all of his hits such as "Hustlin'", "The Boss", "Aston Martin Music", "I'm On One", and "Stay Schemin'" with The Renaissance Orchestra playing a full symphony behind him. This show will be celebrating the 20th-anniversary of the release of Ross's debut album "Port of Miami" as well as songs from his second album "Port of Miami 2" and more. The Renaissance Orchestra chose to partner with Rick Ross for their first-ever artist partnership because of his immense influence in the hip-hop world. As one of hip-hop's greatest, with multiple Grammy nominations, founder of Maybach Music Group, and many more platinum albums and singles under his belt, Ross is sure to bring the grandeur and "boss-like" personality that he is known for.
The music of The Renaissance Orchestra is majestic and elegant. Their score for this show of Rick Ross's music will include a full array of live, performed percussion as well as a vast array of other traditional, symphonic instruments. The Beacon Theater is located at 2124 Broadway at 74th Street in New York, NY 10023. This legendary Theater was built in 1929 as a movie palace in the fabulous style of Art Deco. With three levels of seating: Orchestra, Loge and Balcony, the Beacon can seat up to 2,894 concert-goers. All of the seats offer excellent views of the performance with very few 'poor' seats. For events at the Beacon concessions are available for purchase which include: snacks, candy, soda, bottled water and popcorn. For some events bar service is also available. The Beacon has two accessible entrances; one is on the Broadway side between 74th and 75th Streets and the other is on the Amsterdam Avenue side at 74th Street. The Beacon does not have a parking lot for guests. There are however many parking garages and lots located throughout the vicinity. Some of the garages and lots offer online reservations for parking spaces. Below are a few parking options for you to look into. These options allow you to reserve a parking spot online and prices vary from $47 and up. There are also designated pick up and drop off for rideshare guests. This can be found on both Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue near the Beacon Theater. If you do plan on driving to the Beacon there is also street parking available on the Upper West Side but keep in mind there is limited space. It is recommended to reserve a parking space in advance to guarantee a spot for the evening of the show.
