Celebrate the 2026 Tribeca Festival (June 3-14) Opening night with a world popular Tribeca Festival screening of Earth, Wind & Fire (To Be Celestial VS That's the Weight of the World) directed by Ahmir 'Questlove' Thompson. Get a sneak peek into one of the world’s most influential and iconic groups ever and delve into the vision of their founder, the late Maurice White. A must see for anyone interested in music today. With unseen footage and historical archival, the film will also feature special guests. After the film join the cast for a LIVE musical performance, featuring The Roots. Earth, Wind & Fire

Experience the musical phenomenon of Earth, Wind & Fire. As one of the most recognized American musical bands to date. Formed in 1969 by founder and visionary Maurice White in Chicago, Earth, Wind & Fire has continued to give the world some of the most unique musical compositions ever written by fusing a wide array of musical styles such as funk, soul, R&B, disco, jazz and pop, with musical and lyrical themes of love, spirituality, personal growth and awareness.

The band has earned a total of six Grammy Awards including three as performers and producers for the album "From The Mudd Up". In addition, they were recently awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award. They were also the first hip hop group to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000. The group has sold a cumulative 95 million albums worldwide and have won four American Music Awards. They have also had eight number one platinum albums and have had over 30 charted singles. 

The Roots

Philadelphia’s renowned and Grammy Award-Winning hip-hop group, The Roots, who serve as the house band for late night talk show “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” One of the most critically acclaimed groups in hip-hop with a rich musical palette, The Roots have released numerous albums that seamlessly blend jazz, soul, and funk and have won numerous Grammy Awards. 

Beacon theatre Information

Located at 2124 Broadway (at 74th Street), New York, NY 10023 in Manhattan's Upper West Side. The premier concert hall is the 1929 movie palace with its elaborate decorative décor and paintings of floral, faunin themes on the walls and recessed panels. Today the hall accommodates nearly three thousand viewers on the three tiered orchestra, loge and balcony levels. The hall has some of the world's best acoustics and the Sphere riveting Sound technology will only further enhance the performance experience.

The entertainment venue includes multiple entrances one on Broadway and one on Amsterdam Avenue, both located at the intersection of these two streets between W 74th Street and W 75th Street.
